BRAHEA armata – “Mexican blue palm”
This fan palm develops a thick, stout trunk to 38′ and is enhanced with waxy-blue palmate leaves which are deeply cut into many segments.
The large fan leaves are up to 5′ wide. Hardy to 18F degrees. Pre-soak seeds for 4 days before planting. Plant 1″ in Soil mixture. Place in bright light. Keep warm and damp. Likes high humidity. Slow germinating up to 10 weeks or more.
